Australian Legal Tender in card "P" Mintmark

This uncirculated $1 coin commemorates the 100th anniversary of the peak body resposible for the promotion and developement of swimming in Australia. Struck by The Perth Mint, the coin’s reverse depicts Swimming Australia’s official ‘100 years of excellence’ logo and a freestyle swimmer with water splashes composed of silhouetted swimming figures. Also incorporated in the design is The Perth Mint’s historic ‘P’ mintmark. The coin's obverse despicts the Ian Rank Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2009 year-date.
