When pressure is applied to the halter, the knots apply PRESSURE to certain points on your horses head, and your horse REACTS ......Creating an animal that will RESPOND!!! These Extra knots are good for the horse that your training to walk, load, or anything that your trying to teach. The knots are located on the nose, for a horse that may drag you, or pull you, and also on the poll, so it has pressure from the opposite direction if the pull back, ie: loading.
