Joe Foss was one of the heroes of Guadalcanal, where America halted Japan's Pacific offensive. After graduating from the University of South Dakota in 1940, Foss enlisted in Marine Aviation. The Marines landed on Guadalcanal (Code name: "Cactus") on 7 August 1942, but for months the Japanese Navy dominated the seas around Guadalcanal and shelled the Marines nightly. Foss and Marine Fighting Squadron 121 arrived in October. Four days after landing on Guadalcanal, Foss experienced his first air combat on 13 October, when he shot down a Mitsubishi A6M2 "Zero" before three other Zeroes shot up his F4F and forced him to land with a dead engine.

We use Australia Post's Business E-Parcel network.
All parcels have a consignment note number for tracking & insurance purposes. The parcel is scanned at several locations during its transit, & a signature is required for both normal & express post.
Express post is available, however, please contact us prior to purchase, as prices vary considerably from state to state & weight of the box.
As a guide delivery times from Brisbane to QLD, NSW, ACT & VIC can take 2/3 days via normal E-Parcel and WA, SA, NT & TAS 5-7 business days.
PLEASE NOTE: If the address is a business, please include the business/company name with your name address details. We will not be responsible for further postage costs if the parcel has been returned because fundamental details have not been included in the address.
