revised all wood structure - over 100' (or 28") of bridge.

History:

We designed this bridge around the remains of trestle structures found near Simsville, Stroud in New South Wales but is tyical of light tramway trestle design the world over. Our revised bridge features all wood construction but to give added realism, we have fitted Nut, Bolt and Washer sets. Note: pictures show our prototype model, now offered for sale. 

(Heavy 1' x 1' track support beams are included but not the On30 track or mine skips - assembled bridge will be shipped with six completed trestles and track support beams packed separately)

Simply add more bridge kits to increase the bridge length! Trestles can be cut shorter or used on a climbing and or curved bridge.

Dimensions:

• Trestle Dimensions:
  • top support width: 1 3/4" (7 feet prototype)
  • bottom width: 3" (12 feet prototype) 
  • max height ('creek' to track supports): 8" (32 feet prototype)
  • can be cut to form a trestle 16' to 32' high
• Timber dimensions:
  • top logs: 1/4" x 1/4" (1' foot square) 
  • cross beams: 3/8" x 1/8" (18" x 6" prototype)
