On30 Scale (1:48). This popular kit is one of a series of On30 'easy to assemble' rural structures, designed to give your layout that typical 'backwoods' look.

Our kit is based around the efficient 'drop slab' method of construction where hardwood slabs were dropped into grooved vertical studs, mortised into heavy horizontal logs for support. In time as the slabs shrunk, more were simply dropped into place!

Great for modeling as you may choose to heavily weather some slabs or simply oil the completed model in your choice of stain. You may wish to fit windows or shutters and why not snap a few slabs or leave some out to give that neglected look!
