• This #1 genoa is a tri-radial cut from an Beneteau40 yacht. It is made from a range of weights of mylar laminate, say 4oz in the luff area and 6oz in the leech clew and head. the cloth is a hi performance laminate, taffeta backed mylar; Luff  14.5m x leech 13.68m x foot 7.14m. This sail is in very good condition, with no repairs and a very few areas where the mylar has cracked, but no visible delamination. There has been some minor damage in the tack, probably where the sail chaffed on the bow rail, see me pointing in the photo. It has glued seams through out. It is ready to go. I rate the sail 7 out of 10 structural condition. Fitted with a 6mm bolt rope luff, which has had a few inches trimmed from the top but is ready to go as is. The performance of these racing sail will often surprise, especially compared to a dacron sail. It would be suitable for many race/cruising yachts. The sail has a cut-back at the tack to skirt a furler drum. This allows a cruising boat to use this sail instead of the normal  low performance furling headsail while racing. The tack is connected at deck level to maximise sail area. Return if unsatisfied. See return conditions below.
