This rug is a beautiful Pure Wool Sculpted Aubusson Rug. It is a workshop carpet hand-knotted by Weavers in Northern Rajasthan. The design is reminiscent of 18th Century French Carpets and Tapestries. The attractive colours are subtle, and are particularly popular in Federation and Victorian homes.

The field colour is a lovely cream, pistachio and salmon colour. 

It is a recent strong and heavy weave and is brand new. Most desirable and ideally used as a living room rug, they also look fantastic in the bedroom setting. This rug will serve the owner well for many years.
