100% Kenyan Kikoy.

             Kikoy are 100% cotton, grown in East Africa and spun in Kenya. The fabric being 100% finest cotton gives comfort to wear and suit all climates. Kikoy are garments traditionally worn by swahili sailors plying the Indian Ocean. Swahili people have continued to wear them for any occassion, but now it is tailored into many modern styles blending a centuries old traditional with current fashion trend. Our Kikoy are yarn dyed fabric with various colours and designs that gives the most beautiful of vibrant colours found only in Africa.

             Kikoy fabric is very durable, yet extremely easy to wash and care, becoming softer and more comfortable with every wash. Kikoy have versatile end use from the traditional form to making of end products like beach wear, towels, fancy bags, sarongs etc. Kikoy yarns are woven on non-conventional weaving machine designed to make the fabric and fringes. Kikoy are about 170cm x 100cm including fringes. The fringes on both ends of the fabric are hand knotted. Kikoy have become a household name in Europe and America at large.
