100 LED's 10mm

100 HIGH POWERED 85Kmcd 10mm LED's supplied with 100 suitable resistors to connect to 12VDC - alltogether they draw about 1.7A at 12VDC and create quite a lot of light...

The colour-tone according to the manufacturer is

"Warm White"

they are a bit into yellow'ish - a little like sunshine

Suitable for background illumination, macro or special effects...

They had been briefly connected to an experimental board for one test and used for a couple of hours - (and found to be are all working!). The setup was dismantled and components cleaned up - ready to do it again in a different setup

Re-connecting is simple - soldering, or just use bread boards, depanding on the selected shape, size...

These high powered LED's have 85Kmcd illumination each. The LED's won't get hot - even after long use - they are only hand warm.

Hint: Their original light patten is a little more like that of a spotlight. It is simple to increase the spread of light by roughing up the top surface of the LED's with some fine steel wool or very fine polishing paper, I have done it many times and it works well. They are made from shiny clear acrylic. The ones for auction here have not been treated like that, but are as they originally come.

Power requirements:

(Not supplied) Will run from a 12V battery or 240VAC/12VDC regulated power pack delivering at least 2A - this lot draws only 1.7A - LED's use VERY little power, despite their intensity.
