General information about SEBEN astronomy:
|
| |
Seben Astronomy is generally equipped with guiding computer based optical systems and surfaces to achieve a maximum in performance.
Most advanced computer controlled machines guarantee, that the specifications on dimension of Seben Astronomy as well as the finishing and glass homogeneity are precisely kept.
In Addition the up-to-date construction of Seben Astronomy assures, that you can get a lot of accessory quickly and easily. Here is to be mentioned particularly, that all products from Seben Astronomy are outfitted with holes for 1.25 " (31.7mm) accessories. As a result it even becomes possible to explore the popular World of Astrophotography, because getting the necessary accessory is no problem at all.
Attention:

|
|
| |
Please note that many Astronomy products are still outfitted with the plain and obsolete 0.98“ (24.5mm) accessory-holes. Since you can hardly get accessory for these type of holes any more, you presumably won't enjoy a product with such a characteristic for a long time. Furthermore the 1.25” (31.7mm) eyepieces, which can be used with Seben Astronomy generally, gather much more light than the smaller 0.98“ (24.5mm) eyepieces. The result is a great increase in performance.
Seben Astronomy has proven for a long time, that good quality can be achieved for reasonable prices, without making compromises with the accessory. We wish you a lot of enjoyable time with this great hobby!

Product description SEBEN Star Sheriff:
|
| |
Seben's Star-Sheriff is a high quality reflector telescope. The combination of an enormous 114mm aperture and a remarkable focal length of 1000mm has been popular and proven for many years. It enables a fascinating observation of the nightly sky in unimaginable clarity!
Because of the huge 114mm aperture of Seben's Star-Sheriff you can observe stars up to a class of 12,8M ( over 2,250,000 stars visible!!! ).
The tremendous focal length of 1000mm makes it possible, that you receive a sharp and detailed image quality, even when you are using high magnifications.
Furthermore Seben's Star-Sheriff is a catadioptric telescope. The greatest advantage of this design is its compactness. You will especially notice that during the transport and the setting up of Seben's Star-Sheriff . And since the wind hasn't got such a great target, it won't be shaken so badly during stormy nights.

Because of its up-to-date-construction and its high performance 1.25” (31.7mm) accessory-holes, you are able to equip Seben's Star-Sheriff with nearly every available accessory. It is even possible to extend Seben's Star-Sheriff for the popular Astrophotography!
But we aren't just talking about extra accessory, we do the job properly! The following 1.25“ extra accessory is all part of our “Big Pack“ . Whereas you usually have to spend a lot of extra money for it with other manufacturers, there is no cent to be paid extra with us.
The added 1.25“ (31.7mm) Moon Filter reduces the Moon's glare, which is produced by reflected sunlight and normally washes out most of the craters and other surface details from view.
The additionally supplied 1.25“ (31.7mm) Barlow Lens enables a doubling of the magnification of the inserted eyepiece.
The 1.25“ (31.7mm) 1,5x Erecting Eyepiece produces an upright and side correct image. This is particularly of importance for terrestrial viewing, because usually the image would appear upside down.
Because of it's lower power the 5x24 Finder Scope makes it easier to locate celestial objects.
With the provided 1.25” (31.7mm) eyepieces (20mm, 12.5mm, 6mm and 4mm) the following magnifications can be achieved without further accessories having to be bought expensively: 50x, 80x, 100x, 160x, 167x, 250x, 334x and 500x.
The extremely stable, vertically-adjustable Tripod enables best observation conditions, especially if you want to shift from celestial to terrestrial viewing or vice versa.
Furthermore we want to accentuate the Equatorial Mount (EQ2) of the telescope, which enables an easier tracking of celestial objects as they move across the night sky.

Seben electronic motor drive This SPECIAL OFFER already INCLUDES this accessory !!!
|
| |
Due to the earth rotation celestial objects will drift out of the field of view without an electronic motor drive. The Seben electronic motor drive repositions your telescope automatically by exactly countering the rate of Earth’s rotation. It keeps your celestial observation target (planet, nebula, moon, etc.) in view without having to manually reposition the telescope every few seconds. Simply couple it to the polar axis of the equatorial mount and let your Seben telescope do the driving!
The Seben electronic motor drive provides sufficiently accurate tracking for piggyback and planetary (eyepiece projection) astrophotography as well as prime-focus, long-exposure astrophotography.
