Very good condition, but white sections on cover have slightly discoloured with age. Kept in non-smoking household on a bookshelf. Fantastic book, am having an end of year cleanout.

A great book for people who want to do "groundwork" (or ridden work) with their horses, but don't want to have to subscribe to an expensive training program. Rio is an ex-PNH instructor, and she sets out very clear, concise exercises to do with your horse - each with a purpose and NO CUTESY NAMES! Guest exercises for both ridden and ground work. Beautiful drawings accompany each exercise, making it very clear how to go about completing it successfully.
