'An anthology of emotional first aid' is the subtitle to this wonderful little book! I have 2 copies of this one, as I bought it for a friend who already had a copy! The contents page lists poems by subject. Some of these subjects are: Bithday Blues, Firts date, Insomnia, When you lose your pet, Rock Bottom, Mothers-in-Law, Bad hair day, Christmas... the list continues! This little book has gotten me through some tough times and some ridiculous situations, has made me laugh at myself and shed a tear when I needed it. Some poets include: John Keats, Dorothy Parker, Emily Dickinson, Ted Hughes, Ogden Nash, to name a few. It is a beautifully designed little hardcover, with dustjacket in perfect condition, covered in a bookstore quality plastic, with no sticky tape (therefore no sticky tape marks). There are minimal signs of age on the top edge where dust has sat, but otherwise the book is in perfect condition and waiting to go to a loving home.
