SILICONE CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Wash with soap & warm water prior to first use. You can autoclave the silicone jewelry if desired, but it is necessary to wash them regardless of autoclaving. For ease during insertion we recommend lubrication, of both eyelets & piercing(s), with either body friendly oils or sexual lubricants (such as Wet Platinum or Eros) prior to insertion OR removal. This is especially necessary if you have sensitive skin. To insert the jewelry fold/squish it in half (and, if possible in half again) then slip into your piercing and let go. It will resume it's shape (and will try to do so while you're trying to fold it, so the first few times may take a couple minutes).
Our eyelets can be worn in cartilage but should not be used for stretching it. If the flares are too tight (which can be caused by the slight or extreme swelling caused by a stretch) they can effectively seal your piercing.
