12 piece Art Deco silver plate spoons and forks Denmark

This set of 6 large spoons and 6 large forks is in lovely condition.

The pieces are all marked with the Danish twin tower assay mark for silver plate used from around 1880 to 1928. These pieces were made before 1928. There is also a maker's mark of Karat, and a P for plate.

The plating, as with most Danish silver plate is thick and in really good condition. It is bright and very shiny. It is hard to believe that the set is as old as it is. The pieces have not been replated and retain their original finish.

The pieces have fine scuff marks from use mainly to the handles. There is minor tip wear tot he back of some tines on some forks. I stress this is very minor.

The forks are 205mm and the spoons 200mm long.

The set weighs 550gms.

Please note there are definitely 6 of each piece for sale not 5 forks as photographed.
