‘ BEGINNER KIDS is a guitar course on autorun CD-ROM, which you simply insert into
your computer's DVD-ROM drive. It's aimed at beginners who have never played guitar and know nothing about music. It uses no musical notation of any kind.
1.) A menu comes up with the first page telling you what kind of guitar to buy if you haven't already got one.
2.) The next page is the tuner - you click on the button for the corresponding string and hear guitar string played.
3.) The next two pages are aimed at parents, and explain the rudiments of guitar: What is a chord, what is a key? Which chords go together. Which chords should be learned first.
4.) The chord reference page shows the chords and plays them when you click on the corresponding button. It's complete, you won't have to go out and buy a chord book
5.) The lessons page has 11 interactive lessons, that use at first one, then two, and for the last two lessons three partial chords with well known children’s songs such as "Row the boat"
Click on the video button and a video of a professional guitar tutor plays giving the lesson. Other buttons activate a metronome, show and play chord structures and the like.
This is a CD-ROM for Windows and is designed for computers with a CD-ROM drive. Windows 98 or later. Pentium 2 (500) or better.
