Protect your LCD 12v TV etc from typical battery voltage fluctuations caused by battery charging, or other loads in your vessel

PROBLEM
Many LCD TV's utilise a 12 volt plug pack to run them from the mains (110 or 230v AC) supply.
Therefore it would appear that this should allow you to connect the set directly (without the mains plug pack) to your Boat 12v system.
However, your vessel's nominal 12 volt system can and will fluctuate from 11v to 14.8v during normal use.
Most TVs are not designed to cope with these voltage fluctuations
Whilst initially the set may work correctly, in many cases gradual damage is occurring such as burnt out screen pixels etc.
These economical converters will regulate and stabilise your Boat supply to a rock solid 12 volts
If your battery voltage is down, it steps it up to a stable 12 volts .. If your battery voltage is up it steps it down to a stable 12volts
NB: Many retailers will not honour the warranty if your TV set is operated on other than a stable, accurate 12 volt supply.
