Country Estate find A quality vintage mixed lot of sewing machine and button thread cottons on wooden reels, all black. Seven 400yds reels of J.P.Coats, in best six cord, size 30 (near full), 2 x 40 (one full, one is half used with a small chip on the rim), 2 x 36 (one x full, one half used), 1 x 50 (some used) and 1 x 60 (full) plus a Knox's of Ireland full reel of linen '2' cord 200 yds, 2 x 'The Challenge' super '3' cord 400yds size 40 and 40 both full and 2 x full spools of Clark & Co's Anchor extra strong button thread made in england each containing 50 yds of thread... They are fabulous strong quality machine cottons and are very hard to find in this clean nearly all full condition, perfect for the seemstress or collector of vintage cotton reels. They don't make quality thread like this anymore, as pictured In very good useable condition Dating From Circa 1940's/50's, possibly earlier. All made in England and one Knox's linen thread Ireland.
