This high-tech T-shirt features a fully functional EL (electro-luminescent) panel, powered by a battery pack cleverly hidden within an inside shirt pocket. You don't even notice it's there!

Electroluminescence (EL) is an optical phenomenon and electrical phenomenon where a material emits light. These shirt panels use phosphorous ink technology, producing a cold, even light that is incredibly thin. The battery pack features a control mechanism that allows this light to flash on and off.

There's an on/off switch built in – so you can choose when to flash and when to not...
Each EL T-Shirt has a small hidden pack with a battery compartment and small on/off button. The battery pack connects to an electro-luminescent (EL) panel.

EL T-Shirts can be hand or machine washed. Care must be taken to avoid folding and ironing over the front velcro panel. Both the EL panel and battery pack (including connecting lead) must be detached and removed prior to immersing in water.

Q)Is the EL PANEL reusable? A) Yes, of course. You simply need to change the batteries in the battery pack.

Q)Does this t-shirt come in any other colours? A) In this model the only colour is black.

Q)Is the shirt easy to wash. A)Yes, simply remove the electrical components before washing. An instruction sheet is provided.

Q)Can the EL panel be adapted to other clothing. e.g. jeans. A) Yes. You will need to transfer the velco panel and electronics to the other clothing.
