THESE BOTTLES,ALSO CALLED SAUSAGE BOTTLES,WERE DESIGNED TO LIE DOWN,TO KEEP THE CORK MOIST,SO THAT THE AERATED WATERS CONTAINED WOULD NOT LOSE THEIR EFFERVESCENCE.
 A RARE SPECIMEN,NOT TO BE MISSED.THE OVERALL CONDITION IS EXCELLENT.THERE ARE 2 SMALL CHIPS ON THE VERY TOP RIM.IT IS 28CM LONG.
