US NAVY OFFICER'S CEREMONIAL DRESS SWORD

 

This pattern of a US Navy Officer's sword was first introduced in 1852 and to this date remains without any changes in specifications the uniform sword for all US Navy Officers. You can read more at this link. A brand new reproduction of the original. Photos are of the actual item for sale.

Overall length with scabbard: 36"
Sword length without scabbard: 35"
Blade length: 30"
Blade material: 440 Stainless Steel
Blade: Semi-sharpened with sharp tip. Has beautiful deep etch on both sides that can be felt with a fingernail.
Handle material: Ivory colored plastic
handle grips with imitation sting-ray skin surface wrapped with copper wire. Gold colored brass guard and pommel
Scabbard length: 31"
Scabbard material: Nickel plated steel
Included accessories: Protective cloth bag
