Printed by Longman, Green, Longman, Roberts, & Green, London in 1863. First edition printed 1863 and this is that first edition. Descriptions of life in the bush farming in Van Diemen's land, killing of a Tasmanian wolf , time spent in colonial prison, bushrangers, the capture of the Scotchy and Witton gang, much to do with Aboriginal in Bush culture at that time and an expeditions. High quality book in its day - Very interesting - with old world appearance, thoughts and charm. Very important reference history book from that early period in Australia's formation .Early dated book written about Australia. This book was published just 75 years after first white settlement but refers to exploits 25 years prior starting 1832.

CONDITION	Condition is good. The spine cover is worn cloth in finger grip area.Boards showing wear and rubbed edges. Slight break to inside front Hinge paper no breaks to boards. .All pages held tight in binding . Paper is in stable (extreme outer edge of some pages rough)land very good condition. Slight uniform age discolouration paper clean inside - 146 years old. Great Collectable -
