Hello in eBay land! If you have checked out some of my earlier auctions of WWI items you will know that I do not claim to be an expert on most of the collectable items I offer, please keep that in mind as you check out this US One Cent Franklin (1890-93). There is a small tear at the top of this stamp. A friend gave me a huge box of stamps, some loose, some in albums, some on envelopes from the US and around the world. The collection was his from the 1950s but he has thrown any unusual stamps in it up through the 1970s. I just barely have started looking through the collections...it is going to take months to do this. I plan to offer what I think are the rare ones on eBay. This is where my lack of knowledge could be your gain. I will start each auction at 99 cents, with no reserve, and see what the collectors do. I guess if the stamp is worth more, the bidding will follow. I am sure if you are a serious collector you will correct me if I have identified the stamp incorrectly. I welcome any help. This item is offered "as is." US buyer is responsible for any insurance and/ or registered mail beyond the basic First Class Mail offered. International buyer is responsible for registered mail and any insurance which is the only way I will ship items out of US. Winning bidder understands that I am not responsible for items lost in the mail, if you want the extra safeguards you are welcome to pay for them! Thanks for looking and good luck bidding! |
