Here I have an amazing original Bradley and Hubbard Banquet lamp from the 1890's ..These grand lamps were found in the homes of the more affluent families..gracing the dinning table , found in the parlor , or even on the pianos..

Large in stature this lamp stands a commanding 32 inches to the top of the chimney.., 20 inches to the base of the shade..

The shade is large as well standing 10 inches tall and approx 8 1/2 inches across

This lamp is just stunning..starting at the base..it is solid brass..with a wonderful floral pattern..The base is very detailed ..just look at the pics..The centre collum is what looks to be metal cast into it a delicate pattern and has a dull silver finish over it..There is some loss to this paint but only adds to the look of the piece..It may be original to the lamp .not sure?There appears to be a metal plate (professionally done) underneath as extra support added at a later date..not detracting from this grand piece in any way...as we come to the font (oil container) we come back to the amazing detail that bradley and hubbard are known for..A long standing american oil lamp company...Just stunning detail and work with the raised pattern very delicate in its look.. There is the oil cap..marked with B&H the font also has bradley & hubbard the flame spreader is marked as is the shade ring with patent dates starting fron 1892 on the shade ring...the wick winder moves freely..sorry no wick included but easy to get..There are maybe 2 tiny dings in the font..I never saw them til I started polishing the brass..so not really visible unless lookingfor it..but needs to be mentioned..

The chimney is vintage as i see swirls through it..there is a chip on the base of the chimney but is not visible once sitting in the burner and the shade is over it...

The shade is vintage and I dont believe original to the lamp but is stunning in itself..with the painted rose on 3 sides.. in a crimson red..The shade has raised/pressed pattern around the base and top of the shade..also raised work around the roses..Then inbetween the roses are the raised wagons and wheat ..very old world.. It is a delicate pink all over  with no damage at all

These lamps are stunning pieces of work on there on..and would grace/compliment any home/decor..would make a great centre piece on the table..or on the old sideboard...
