Wonderful and original slice of Australian local history. Entitled 'Far from the madding crowd - Scenes around Terrigal', dated Oct 14 1908, one page , large format, approx 42x30cm, rough and uneven side edge where it has been disbound and cut,some stains,small tears and chips,requires an edge trim,general wear. Salvaged from a mangled bound copy of the Australian Town and Country journal, published in Sydney. Provides fantastic images and text related to this Central New South Wales Coast township. You can count the number of houses on two hands.

 

Wonderful and different addition for the Australian local historian. Tremendous visual record of 101 years ago, look fantastic framed. Very scarce.Low start.
