 Description Postage and payments
1920's French couture opera coat I bought in Paris in the 1970's. The coat has always been one of my favorite purchases and is a true museum piece. There is a gold designer stamp at the V inside the piece. The coat is made of very fine silk velvet in a very light gold tone with hand painted gold paint design on the exterior. The lining is a very fine french silk satin in pink. The condition is excellent with two small faded spots on the exterior (not noticable because they match the gold color), two spots on the inside lining and a few very small gold paint defect matching spots near the print on the exterior. This is a serious collectors piece so please contact me for any additional information. I have closeups of the design and couture stamp. The coat is 31 inches across the top and 51 inches in length. Code 0029
