Super 1930's art deco period green pressed uranium satin glass dressing table set.

Superb glass dressing table set in a distinctive art-deco angular design with frosted satin finish.
5 Piece set comprises
Tray - Octagonal tray, the shape of which is a re-occurring theme throughout the set, with superb yet simple angular line effect radiating across the tray. Decorated in relief to the underside gives an added subtle change in colour when viewed at various angles from above. A similar effect is created to the sides of the tray by the use of concave panels, the longer ones having the same linear patterns repeated. Tray comes in lovely condition, one or two nibbles to its straight sides and there are a couple of rubbed areas to the underside 'frosting' which should be visible in the photos. Size = 11 3/4"L x 8 1/2"W x 1"D.
Powder Bowls x2 - Octagonal lidded bowls, straight line decoration again to the larger panels, edges and base. Larger bowl measures 4"L x 2"W x 2"H (3" to the top of the finial). The smaller of the two bowls measuring some 3 1/4"L x 2 1/2"W x 1 3/4"H (2 1/2" to finial top). Bowls come in super condition, the smaller having 3 or 4 nibbles to the underside of its top, the larger having a small chip to the underside of one long side.
Candlesticks x2 - Pair of sticks, 5 1/4" in height of straight column form. The octagonal theme is again repeated both in the column itself, the column head and the stick base. The base measuring some 4"L x 3"W. The sticks themselves come in lovely condition with one or two nibbles to the underside of the bases. However there are also 2 chips to the underside of one stick and 3 to the underside of the other.
A delightful deep apple green in normal daylight the 'set' glows superbly when exposed to UV or 'Black light'.
Generally in super condition as stated in the description, other than that the odd small air bubble, but nothing of note and nothing that detracts from the overall appearance of the piece.
Please remember this item is something like eighty years old and has been used but still overall a super piece of Vaseline / Uranium glass which would certainly enhance any collection.
