 Description Postage and payments
This is part of a group of valentines that I am currently offering. They came from an estate and are all from the 30's or earlier. This one is quite large, measuring just over 8" tall by 6 1/2" wide. The honeycomb still has its little metal piece to make it stay open so you can stand the card up. The verse is "It's Only Puppy Love T'is True But Here's A Bushel Of It For You my Valentine." The card is so cute with the boy and girl holding the 'bushel' of puppies. The card is signed on the back. The card is made in the U.S.A. and you will note that the yellow coloring is missing at the lower left (see closeup). The card is quite soiled and has some foxing. There is a crease along the heart from the lower part of the girls dress to the top of the card just at the left of the rightmost cloud. It still would make a nice addition to a collection.
