In the Classic Era, Cadillac set a standard of excellence which is still highly regarded by collectors today. During the 1930-31 period Cadillac produced not only a big V8, but also refined OHV V12 and V16 engines as well. Their cars had beauty, class, elegance, and performance. Today, they can be shown with pride, and driven at modern highway speeds with confidence. They are a mega dollar car overseas, and quite rare in Australia.
This big and beautiful Sport Phaeton has already undergone extensive restoration work, but needs completion. It features the 135hp 368 cubic inch OHV V12 engine, and is approx 95% mechanically complete. The body has been rewooded and the craftsmanship is superb. All metal panels are present in good condition. All lights and instruments are included. It is 6 wire wheel equipped and rolling on 4 new 18" tyres.
A private owner has entrusted us to help reduce his collection of big American vintage project cars. Also available are a V16 All Weather Phaeton ($140K), V12 Convertible Coupe ($45K), and V8 Club Sedan ($25K); all unrestored 1930 or 1931 Cadillacs.
We are keen enthusiasts who run a licensed mechanical and panelbeating workshop specializing in antique automobiles. Of course, we would be willing to undertake any amount of restoration work for the new owner.
