Beautiful embossed collectible hard cover book commemorating the Coronation of King George IV, the present queen’s father.

Full of gorgeous sepia toned photographs and some colour plates of the King and Queen in their Coronation Robes, all the Royal Regalia and a charming portrait of the then Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret.

The book is a history of the Coronation rituals and a biography of the King from 1895 up to 1936. It also has a biograph of Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother) to 1936 with lots of photos of her wearing fabulous fashions throughout her youth, especially the 1920's.

 The dedication reads

"Dedicated to peace and goodwill between nations”

25cm X 19cm

GOOD CONDITION

The first two pages have separated at the spine but are still bound. There are a couple of torn pages but the rest of the book is in pretty good condition.
