1940s MODERN HOME NURSING & FIRST AID -K. D. Keele

Hi Ebayers! I’m pleased to offer this wonderful 1st edition of MODERN HOME NURSING & FIRST AID by Dr K. D. Keele. It was published by Odham Press in the 1940s. It provides a fascinating picture of pre-NHS nursing care, when patients were nursed at home, rather than in hospital. This book covers all that a home nurse would be expected to know, from care of diseases, homebirth, baby care, treatment of fractures, wounds and burns, to nutrition and hygiene. Extensively illustrated with B & W photos and diagrams.

It is in good condition readable condition. The spine of the hardcover is a bit worn.

It measures 23 cm by 16 cm and weighs 644 grams unpacked.

I DO combine items for some big savings on postage on the additional items. I basically charge Australia Post costs plus $1.00 per item. Therefore, it may only cost an extra $1.00 to post small additional items.

I sell a wide variety of vintage, collectable and unusual items and, unless otherwise stated, they are not in new condition. When I list items I try to describe them as fully as possible. I also take as good a photo as possible showing the true condition of the item. I am not an expert in all areas and occasionally make mistakes in my description. If you see an error, feel free to email me so corrections can be made.

My wish is to find new caretakers for my collections, should there be a fault I have overlooked, by all means I would refund in reverse payment, postage excluded. All items listed are on an "AS IS" basis unless otherwise stated. I hope you are happy with your new TREASURE OR TREAT.

·        I prefer to send fragile or expensive items by registered mail as it gives a guarantee of safe delivery as well as $100 insurance. If this item sells for more than $30.00 it will be sent by registered mail. Paypal requires that items have tracking numbers.

·        Lost packages or breakages due to the negligence of Australia Post will not be refunded, however all attempts will be made to advise buyer of the time, date and place of postage, that they may attempt to track the item.
