Magneto Telephone

This telephone has been fitted with a new line cord so that it can fitted or displayed to a modern telephone socket. These magneto telephones are not for use with our Automatic Telephone Exchanges but two can be used for communication between two points when wired correctly with the proper batteries for transmission and reception. They are generally just for display purposes.

Being produced in 1947 at 62 years of age, it has a few minor scratches which could be removed and 2 chips - one in the mouthpiece and the other left-hand front corner - both of which could be filled and painted black to be far less noticeable.
