HARD TO FIND COLOUR - LEMON YELLOW

THE LEMON ONES DON'T COME UP ALL THAT OFTEN

COLOUR IS LEMON/YELLOW WITH GREY TRIM ON THE CHAIRS AND CHROME TRIM ON TOP OF CHAIRS AND LEGS. THE TABLE IS ALSO THE MATCHING YELLOW LEMON AND HAS BLACK TRIM AROUND THE EDGE. THE LEGS ON THE TABLE HAVE A BLACK METAL HOLDER AROUND HALF WAY. THE BOTTOM OF THE LEGS HAVE A STOP EXCEPT FOR ONE MISSING ON A TABLE LEG.

This belongs to my grandmother's estate and was her kitchen table.  My auntie has had it since the 1980's and has been in storaH

Is in very fair/good condition - I'd give it a good 6 or 7 out of 10.

The yellow/ butter coloured laminate table top is in near perfect condition but does have some scuffing and a few scratches from usual wear and tear over the years.  It's been well looked after though. There are no cracks and is great for the age. It has a black lined squiggly subtle pattern on it...see pics The metal legs are pitted and has one of the bottom caps is missing

The chairs are solid.  Vinyl seats needs a good polish and they have  few stains/marks  and some sunning  over the years. There are some cracks and tears on vinly seats where people have sat over the years but I believe that they can be repaired by "fusion"  or just left as is.  They certainly don't stop anyone from sitting on them - it's had a good life but has been cared for over 40+ years. Stored since 1990's by my auntie with signs of wear. Plenty of photos - but please ask for more if you need.

The chrome (steel??) I think it's chrome -  anyway the metal is pitted and has  marks but that is something consistent to the aging. We were going to lightly papersand it back and repaint but have left as is condition - as someone may want to renovate it.

Table is reinforced (see pics) with a heavy metal. These sets were made my a very reputable manufacturer at the time (my uncle worked for them in the 1960's). Tubular Steel Industries in Daws Road, Thomastown Sth Australia made these sets for MYER for many, many years.

They need a good olde cut and polish I guess, (I'm no expert)  but is a good, authentic and honest setting which has served the grandparents well.      If only it could talk.

The metal - as stated is pitted and needs to be rubbed back.

The pit marks are from surface rust (although I wouldn't say rusted)

If delivered: Payment to be made within 3 days. I prefer Direct Debit as it can take up to 5 days for Paypal to transfer and I have to transfer to my auntie's account first

We will deliver as arranged but if you are not available after arrangements have been made  we will need to rearrange another delivery. Another delivery charge will need to be paid as each delivery comes from Phillip Island and back and as they are only doing me a favour they need to be paid for each  trip. It is imperative that you are available for delivery in person to avoid extra charges - we are trying to be fair to all parties including minimal petrol costs involved.

Payment must be made before delivery is arranged. Delivery by mutual agreement but delivery must be finalised within 7 days of purchase by Direct Debit payment.  If no one is available at time of delivery - a charge will be made for redelivery from Phillip Island.

Direct Debit payment is easier where external deliveries are involved and is our preferred method of payment as we need to pay up front for delivery (Paypal may take longer for delivery as we need to transfer funds for drivers who are doing us a favour). If paying by Paypal delivery will only be made to authorised PAYPAL address as per paypal conditions. If paying by Paypal delivery will only be made to account holder per condition.
