A slightly shabby vintage souvenir wallet made in NSW by Henryck's Leather Products. The outside is in wonderful clean condition & rather special as is has the map of Queensland embossed on the front & Townsville stamped in gold. All the actual leatherwork is in very good condition, still supple, made from fine split hide & the old brass zipper works perfectly well.

Flaws are: An outer stitch along the right edge of the note sleeve is broken, the leather where the hole was punched to take the stitch has split. The lining has deteriorated in the central section & this goes through to both pockets. So the wallet is not much chop for loose change but just fine for note money. So apart from the broken stitch, which could be mended with diligence & ingenuity & the worn lining this lovely wallet is in great shape, with an opening for a photo, a section for stamps & another small pocket behind the stamps slot. Width when closed is 7 mm.
