I recently got a box of old newspapers at an Estate Sale.  They are mostly from small towns in Oregon.  Look in our eBay store if you want to see the collection.

This one is a SINGLE SHEET  --  Double Page Spread--Advertising

The 50th Anniversary of

The Corvallis Sand & Gravel Company

dated August 1, 1961

It's got some nice photos --including old cars and trucks and people who work at the company along with a description of the festivities associated with the celebration.

On the back are space ads with congratulations to the company--along with a local Television Schedule; a crossword puzzle, short articles about things such as a local Mink Far being the target of a Nuisance Suit; Events that are Blocking nation building in The Congo; A Livestock Auction Weekly Report; Use for A Fork Lift; Gainful Gardening; and other such things...

CONDITION: not bad at all -- a few small tears at edges of fold lines and just a touch of tanning...but all in all still all intact and in good condition.

 This item, like all of our vintage paper goods, is being stored in and will be sent to you in an acid free plastic sleeve.
