1963 Fender Stratocaster, 100% original, OHSC, papers

Up for auction is a 100% original, 1963 Fender Stratocaster in very strong Excellent condition. This is a pre L series serial number, "923_ _". This guitar includes the original '63 Fender blond case, and the tremelo bar. In this age of counterfeit instruments, it's also comforting to note that I have the original cancelled check that was written by the owners father when he purchased the guitar second hand in 1965. I also have a copy of the son's drivers license and an affidavit of my purchase of the guitar from him this year. Very few vintage instruments have this solid "chain of custody" available and included.

Now, about this wonderful instrument....as I mentioned, she is 100% original, with no issues at all!!! The owner was a non-smoker, and didn't play out, so there is no tar/nicotine on this strat...and no smell in the case!!! The Strat weighs a comfortable 7.5 lbs. The neck and frets are in excellent condition. There is little to no fret wear. The pickups sound AMAZING....strong and full. the neck pickup, unlike so many vintage strats, is powerful and balances perfectly with the output of the front 2 pickups. the pickups, pots and all electronics are original. The 3 tone sunburst has faded very little, as you can see in the pictures. There are some chips and dings in the guitar....and some checking on the back of the guitar....all very normal for a 46 year old instrument that has been very well taken care of!!! The case is in excellent condition as well...the latches and hinges all work nicely, and the interior is in very nice condition.

Bottom line, this is an amazing playing, sounding, and looking 100% original vintage pre-CBS Stratocaster that is selling for a very, very, competitive price!!! You will not be disappointed !!!
