1963 Fender Stratocaster

I've used this many times on sessions as a very welcome guest guitar and was grateful for the experience, it's a better Strat than any of the three that I have hands down, great player and wonderfuly authentic powerful tone. Despite the few alterations it's had over the years it's is a genuine 1963 Fender Stat to the core that has been down many roads including being owned since the late 70's to this day and favored instrument of "Invasion of Privacy's" Jean Anne Chapman from Nashville, if you know the name, you know the value. It was was refinished to Ivory in the 80's for Jean Anne's show along with the new pickups installed sometime in the 80's( if anyone has an inkling as to what they are let me know) regardless they sound great and no one knows where the originals are unfortunately (I can only testify to how authentic they sound). Also it has brand new authentic tuners, as you can the headstock was refinished and I sure wish that was not the case but can't be undone now after some 25 years. it's an incredible Strat by any one's standards. Truthfully it's not the most concourse and original 63 you may find but it most certainly is as good, marvelous old wood tone and a deep character in every aspect of it's playability, truly I hate to sell this guitar for many reasons.The guitar has never been re-fretted, original neck, body and bridge, WEIGHS 7.5 LBS If by any chance you're not happy with this instrument return it to me for a full refund no questions asked : Please check my Ebay feedback and credentials at www:michaelspriggs.com . PART OF THE REASON THE HEADSTOCK WAS REFINISHED ACCORDING TO MS.CHAPMAN, UNFORTUNATE REGARDLESS.
