Once an old mans saloon the 60's Mercs are now seriously cool. A veteran of multiple 007 movie's (usually driven by badguys) this '64 220 MERC (known in Aus as the "Finny") was a statement in luxury but took 35 years to achieve its cult status.

All the cars are shot by Sydney automotive/fashion photographer George Phillipou (www.gpphotography.com.au) using his $25,000 worth of Canon equipment, these are not images pulled from magazines or the web.

The conditions are consistent and controlled and this is the reason the result is so superb. We then have these images reproduced in a four-part printing process by our man Ray – so note this is NOT the dodgy quality print jobs printed out by your standard bubble-jet or other home/office printer. In fact the transfer will probably survive longer than the shirt. We only do a run of 50 of each car so each shirt is a collectable – but don’t worry they will never go up in value so wear ’em out as much as you can as they get better with age.

Which brings me to the point of the t-shirts themselves, they are 170gsm 100% Australian Cotton – we’ve been using these particular shirts for years so we know they get better with age – they don’t get sloppy or fall apart rather this shirt forms really good fit that makes you look like Marlon Brando whatever your body shape (almost).
