1965 Ford Cortina MK1 220 'iron bar or fleet' model

Up for offer is my 1965 Mark 1 Cortina 220 2 door with iron bar front end.

It is just a roller with diff and complete front end, no engine.

This model is getting harder to find as you don't see many around with the bar front end.

I am selling as I have decided it will be a waste to have sitting around for an eternity, as it is in the queue behind my two GTs so lets put it out there for someone who is after a two door and wants to use it. It has the usual rust as someone has had it sitting in the weather for a while which includes: rear quarters, sills, behind front guards, under rear quarter windows and some in the front floor all of which is repairable. I t also has some dodgy fibreglass repair work done in a few places, that someone has done at some stage. Having said that the car is actually quite straight and the iron bar front is very straight and doors are solid with some repairs needed.

I do have a lot of the parts lying around which will go with the car, whatever I have that is there for the car will come with it including the rear quarter glass (no frames), essentially I have the complete car less the front seats, engine and gearbox plus some other parts.

I do have some buckets seats from another car, some new sills and a mark 2 gearbox that the winning bidder may further negotiate for after the auction, infact the gearbox will go with the car if required.

Really what you see is what you get a reasonably solid car good to start a restoration on, be aware I do have this advertised elsewhere and reserve the right to withdraw at any stage.
