1969 FORD MUSTANG GRANDE COUPE. 351 WINDSOR. Engine Number: D1AE 6015 DA2 (Period Correct). Reconditioned 600 HOLLEY and EDELBROCK PERFORMANCE MANIFOLD. TWIN EXHAUSTS (Really low healthy sound!!!) FMX AUTO TRANSMISSION 9 INCH DIFF (NOT LSD) DELUXE INTERIOR in very good condition. One small split in vinyl on front passenger seat. New dashpad. New black headlining. Carpets good. All gauges work except clock (rarely do). Horn needs to be re wired. All interior courtesy lights work. Door trims have signs of wear but still in good nick. TYRES NEAR NEW. (Yokohamas P215/65 R14 6H) ORIGINAL FOMOCO Steel 12 slotters (Will need repainting) Also has chrome dress rings and GT centre caps in excellent condition. NEW Front seatbelts. NEW clear indicators at rear to comply with Aust REGS. NEW 4 headlamps to comply with Aust REGS. CHROME in very good to excellent condition!! GLASS in excellent condition. Except front windscreen which will need a repair to a crack near the rear view mirror. I've been quoted approx $90 to repair and would be suitable for roadworthy! BOTH side mirrors present, however RHS needs to paint matched. NO RUST!! Floor pans and boot EXCELLENT. PAINT is very good. (Blue with white roof). Not perfect, but polishes up well and still turn heads as daily driver/weekend cruiser. Original colour according to code was Meadowlark Yellow. NEW TIE ROD ENDS and WHEEL ALIGNMENT. DOOR TAG is as follows: 65E W 1A 15A 71 2X 65 = Hardtop E = With Special seats. W = MeadowLark Yellow 1A = Black Cloth and Vinyl 15A = 15th January Build Date. 71 = Los Angeles 2 = 2.75:1 axle ratio X= FMX Automatic This Mustang is pretty much ready for registering and enjoying. Can be registered LHD in all states. Only things needed for rego is windscreen repair ($90) and depending on mechanic, the horn wiring. Will also need a new heater core for heater (hoses currently bypassing core). It was leaking. You can pick them up new for about $35 in the states and very easy to diy. Car runs strong and sounds awesome. All the hard work done, just register and enjoy. The 1969 Mustangs are climbing in price in the states and represent a sound investment.
