Bought at the famous Guitar Centre on Sunset Boulevard from the air-controlled vitage department, this 1975 Fender Thinline Telecaster guitar is absolutely one of a kind. It is with great regret that I have to part with it - nothing comes close to its sound and its playability. I tried a lot of guitars that day in Hollywood, but this Tele blew them all away.
Utterly perfect sound, all original parts (missing the pick-up selector black cover), immaculately corrosion-free from top to bottom. The f-hole and the wood-grain finish just complete this beautiful instrument, along with its original case; fitted also with new Elixir strings, comes with a simple strap, and capo.
Just one feel of the neck in your hands, and the upper register sustain will convince anyone to sell their souls to own this guitar. The sound is like everything you've ever heard pretend guitars try and copy - it really is that good. Try it and see for yourself.
Originally I paid AU$6500 for this minus shipping back to Australia - tears well in my eyes as I start bidding at AU$6000!
I'm willing to ship internationally (even though it's specified differently at the bottom of this page) if you're willing to research the cost, pay what it takes, and deal with the risk.
I'm in North Carlton, Melbourne, if you'd like to try risking it in your hands. :)
