2 SAILING SHIP POSTCARDS   OVERPRINTED, CACHETED, SIGNED

• 2 full colour postcards of sailing ships - the HMS Bounty replica, and the stunning Nippon Maru, both of which took part in the Australian 1988 Bicentenary Tall Ships celebrations.
• The Bounty postcard has 2 silver cachets on the picture side - from Philex'87 Philatelic Exhibition in Singapre 21-23 December 1987;  and from Sydpex'88 Exhibition in Sydney, August 1988.  On the reverse is a 37c Bicentenary stamp cancelled at the Philex'87 Exhibition, Singapore;  also on the back is a violet cachet from Sydpex'88.
• The Nippon Maru postcard has a large cachet of the ship on the reverse, with a signature in both Japanese and English, presumably by the Captain.
• Scan shows front and back of postcards. 
• Postcards are in good condition, some light toning on the reverse of the Nippon Maru. 
• These are very attractive and interesting postcards, ideal for collectors of Ships, Tall ships, Sailing ships, Philatelic Exhibitions.

Packages will be sent by ordinary mail, unless registered mail is requested by the buyer .... 

... HOWEVER ...ALL packages $40 or more will be sent by Registered Mail.

I cannot be held responsible or reimburse you for any problems that occur while a package is in the hands of the Australian or overseas postal systems (lost payments/items that are lost or damaged during postage etc.).

Asia/Pacific Airmail - Up to 50gms - AU$3.30;  Over 50gms up to 125gms - AU$4.90;  Over 125gms up to 250gms - AU$6.50

Rest of the World Airmail - Up to 50gms - AU$4;  Over 50gms up to 125gms - AU$6.30;  Over 125gms up to 250gms - AU$8.65.

Worldwide Registered Airmail - Up to 500 grams - Small envelope - AU$15;  Large envelope - AU$23.

Larger or multiple items above these weights may need to be posted as a parcel and the cost depends on the parcel weight and your location.
