You are bidding on an extremely RARE, COLLECTABLE 1988 Gibson USA made Les Paul 1959 Re-Issue finished in beautiful Cherry Burst in excellent condition, Serial Number

8 04XX. 

This guitar is simply stunning to say the least; the flamed top on this guitar is absolutely gorgeous. The Holy Grail of guitars has been reproduced in this very early RI model that is 100% Original, Never Modified or Tampered with that screams with tonal versatility.

 

There are NO neck cracks, breaks or repairs. Pickups are original Bill Lawrence PAF Humbuckers which were based on a hot, wax potted version of the original PAF,s and where only made during 1988 -1989 making this guitar even more special.

 

The body is in excellent, super clean condition showing very light wear and tear as the photos tell the story, so take the time to have a look. You will not be disappointed with this guitar as it has been very well looked after and clean throughout.

 

Original Frets with plenty of life left, neck is straight as an arrow and according to my scales, weighing in at just over 9 pounds.

 

This guitar has aged beautifully with tons of character, stunning killer looks and an awesome sound to match. Also included in this listing is the original Gibson case as pictured with a broken lock which is easily replaceable.
