1991 Mercedes Benz 300 SE.

This lovely luxury car drives like a dream and has some very nice features such as

• power windows,
• electric sun roof
• heated mirrors
• wooden paneling
• 6 stack cd player (mounted in boot)
• Power seats! - Yes, you can adjust the seats at the touch of a finger.
• 4 tyres that are less than a year old with excellent tread.
• Custom dash mat.
• Engine is in excellent condition. Very responsive. It accelerates like a rocket when you put the pedal to the floor and can cruise all day with no issues at all.

I no longer need this car as I have brought a 4 wheel drive people mover, more suited to my needs.

This car has always been housed well inland, at Bungendore and Queanbeyan, so there is no rust. The body is in great condition, with only one noticable scratch (about 30cms / 12 inches long and less than 1mm wide on the bonnet) The inside is in good condition, though the white leather seats do have some scuff marks. The passenger seat has a small hole in the base of it. I'm not sure if it is a cigarette burn (I don't smoke) or a larger than normal hole in the leather pattern. The wooden panel around the gear stick is faded and cracked. At some stage the previous owner has damaged the internal mirror in the car. They've stuck it back together with some sort of brown glue. It is an acceptable job, but certinly not very professional looking as there is a thin line of brown glue along the bottom of the mirror. These are hardly noticable issues, but in the interest of an honest description I'm adding them here.

The car is clean and ready to drive.

The car also comes with a car cover.

The air conditioner may need regassing as it only blows hot air.

I will miss this  car, as it is a lovely drive, looks wonderful and is just such a pleasure to own, but I like four wheel driving and you just can't drive this baby on Fraser Island or in the outback. I've brought myself a really nice four wheel drive, so the Merc has to go. I am in no great hurry to sell it, as my mate is using it as his daily driver. It is in great condition, drives extreemly well and is well worth what I have listed it as. I've offered a fair price for it and I'm not dropping that.

Delivery

If you would like me to deliver this car to you, please contact me before you bid. If your town has a regular bus / train / plane service to Canberra / Queanbeyan NSW I will consider it. The delivery cost will be based on what it costs me to drive to you and get back home. I estimate it will probably work out to be about 50 cents per kilometer though due to bus fares, fuel and a taxi from the bus terminal to home. I would consider a flat fee of $150 to deliver to Sydney.  Any delivery though would have to be paid in full before hand and is not included in the final sale price.

Lastly

I am realisting this because some galah emailed me near the end of the auction saying they had problems making a bid and then after the auction ended they offered me less than they had in their email. I have no time for people like that and will report all similar requests to eBay. If you want to buy the car, the only way to do so is through this listing.
