1994 Toyota Starlet GT Turbo (quad lamp, face lift) - Japanese Import

(The gearbox for sale on ebay at £70 delivered should fit!)

Before hand i am completely willing to allow any DVLA or RAC...etc checks or personal inspections, all welcome any time.

Here we have for sale my '94 Starlet GT Turbo. Im sorry to see this car go but i can no longer keep it as i have another project now (Honda CRX), it was my pride and joy and my daily driver up untill the gearbox seized completely. I have had no money to purchase a new gearbox and very little time to juggle working on my crx, going to college and trying to fix the starlet.

The car is in exceptional condition, i opted for this one specifically due to the condition of the shell. There is absolutely no accident damage or accident history, there is minimal rust and corrosion and the underside is immaculate condition. Its an exceptional condition, not perffect but i would give it an 8/10 personally.

The only problems with the shell itself is the laquer fade on the roof which is pictured on one of the pictures. Also the drivers side indicator lens is cracked as can also be seen in one of the pictures.

Ok so basically ill come clean and tell you the bad points first, not to mislead anyone. Remember though this was my daily runner until the gearbox went so as far as i know everything else is fine.

Bad points:
  • No tax and currently SORN
  • Needs new gearbox (can get one for £70 off here on ebay, Glanza V gearboxes fit, and i think normal starlet boxes also fit, so thats 4EFTE and 4EFE)
  • Needs an exhaust system (The exhaust was removed and sold sepratley as it was worth a fortune, it can be seen in the pics, was an RS*R system)
  • Needs 2 front seats and rear bench as i sold these (i have the seat belts and bolts and everything though)
  • Needs 2 new tyres
  • Will need a new radiator at some point too

There is no longer any aircon, as i removed the aircon radiator and fan and some of the pipework, you can pick the kit up second hand normally for around £15-£25 as its an item most people remove to get better cooling to the radiator as the massive A/C radiator goes right across the front of the water radiator, and obstructs it from cooling down properlly during hot summers, and as i was doing motorway miles i like my tempratures as cool as possible in the engine bay! Almost every car ive had the first thing i do is fit an Aluminium radiator for better cooling!

GOOD POINTS !

  • Its had over £250 worth of new brakes, front discs, rear discs, front pads and rear pads have all been replaced and done less than 500 miles. Have the recipts somewhere to prove.
  • It has a Auto Watch Imobilizer with certificate of fitting by a proffesional
  • I have every previous MOT from when it was imported
  • I have import documents and the original registration documents...etc
  • I also have the V5 documents all complete
  • It also has McGuard locking wheel nuts all round with the locking key

Boost gauge in Psi
Belived to have a TRD short shifter as well but not confirmed
Razo gearknob

So to sumarise it needs a new gearbox, new front and rear seats, x2 new tyres, new radiator, new exhaust system, tax and mot and its more or less a runner!
