In 1996 the AFL celebrated its centenary. A series of re-enactment matches were played featuring some of the foundation clubs. Specially produced replica guernseys were produced for the occasion and these have since become a highly sought after item of memorabilia. Featured here is the 1996 AFL centenary Essendon re-enactment guernsey complete with all the official logos and number 5 on the back. The jumper has been superbly hand-signed by James Hird and Kevin Sheedy. The signatures were obtained at private signing sessions and photo proof is available for the perusal of the successful bidder. A certificate of authenticity and a security coded numbered hologram are also provided.
