1996 "Weigh & Pay" Trial - CPS Koalas & Kangaroos CTO at 3 Post Offices in WA * Three sets of Counter Printed Stamps (CPS) with no literal CTO with CDS at Cannington, WA 6107 on 20th May 1996; Hillarys, WA 6025 on 21st May 1996; and Rockingham, WA 6168 on 21st May 1996 In May 1996 Western Australia trialled new self-service postal stations (Monetel) in a number of outlets. The trial was called "Weigh & Pay." At the three regional Post Offices (see above) the trial featured a single version of Counter Printed Stamps, which had the stamp value only and no literal. The CPS in this item were CTO at the 3 Post Offices. The FDI of Koalas & Kangaroos CPS was 17th November 1994 . The other Post Office involved in the trial was the GPO Perth, WA 6000 on 20th May 1996. CPS which were CTO from this location have been listed on Ebay at petespolar.
