1996 Ford Falcon GLi
General:
2nd owner. Original owner was TNT as a company car. I bought the car and have used it since. I used to do a lot of driving up and down and around the south coast, when I bought it it had 150ks on the clock and now has 322k's. It has been quite good for the last 5 years and has not really missed a beat. We just recently had a full service done with new brakes and pads and rotors etc. The Transmission was changed about 40,000 ago as did the fuel pumps, and head gasket, and that prettymuch eliminiates the weak link these cars have. Just drove it to Queensland and back and with the a/c on and there were no issues at all.
The not-so pretty:
Body has had a few bumps, and I had a truck back into the drivers door and leave a ding, the ding is still there and the small hole was covered in silastic. The drivers carpet has a worn hole in it from use. The antennae is a coat hanger - gets better reception with it too! It has dents and scratches all over it. The Good and Pretty parts.
Engine bay is very good and clean. Tyres are 70% excellent and are Pirelli all round. Brand New exhaust system from cat back. New brake pads and rotors, head recently redone. Transmission was done 40k ago, and also has the heavy duty shift-kit installed. All lights etc work, no issues. It has been very good to me and Id have no trouble driving it long distances, great for P-Plater or Back packer wanting to see Australia Cheap. Also has a tow hitch attached but will require a gooseneck. These are easy to service and cost effective. 11 months REGO left.
Any questions please ask. Viewing and test drives most welcome. Buyer to pickup within a week or let me know so I can work with you.
