ALL kids want toys, especially the soft, cuddly ones, the bigger the better! Did we say BIG? Well, YES, this is more than big - it is HUGE, compared to what else is being offered on eBay! Read on:
Alright, this IS totally awesome: a nearly 1m tall real soft, very cuddly Yogi Bear soft toy made from ALL 100% natural materials from head to legs. Look on Australian eBay & you WON'T find any other Yogi Bear soft toys at all. Look in US eBay & you'll find a few - ALL in the "pewee" or 'midget class' - all 9 inches & under! Well, this one here is a ....GIANT!! Just 3 cm (just over 1") short of 1 meter! Look on OTHER eBays in the world & you would be wasting your time! If you are particularly looking for a good-size Yogi Bear soft toy, you ARE in the right place! Let's have a close look at this "monster"!:
The head (including its characteristic BIG floppy ears!), hands & shoes are made of this REALLY soft, smooth, very cuddly luxurious plush pile natural wool, light brown in color. The reason WHY this material is so soft is simply because the material has very good pile length or depth (closely examine it under a magnifying glass & you'll know what we mean!). The bear's shirt is a checked blue & white all-natural cotton material, and it actually extends throughout the bear's entire body, right down to the legs; most of it is actually hidden by the blue-denim overalls. The dark-blue denim overalls are your normal thick denim material used in making jeans for human wear. The overalls are supported by 2 straps that go over the shoulders. These straps, over the back, cross each other & are strongly machine-stitched to the overalls on the back (see pics).
The bear wears a stylish red bandanna around its neck. This is 100% natural cotton. Two ends of this bandanna are tied into a knot at the back of the neck - real cool, huh?. In the front chest area, a pocket (also of the same denim material) is sewn into the denim, and a piece of the same red bandanna material is shown hanging from it - VERY stylish indeed!
Our US contact turned up with this from Yellowstone, Wyoming, USA & said that THIS was the ONLY one of its kind he could find! It's obviously an item out of production for MANY years, although we have no idea how old it is.
Condition: It is generally in excellent condition. NONE of the materials have any smudges, stains, dirt or dis-colorations, as you can see from the pictures. There's NO loose stitches ANYWHERE. The red bandanna is a little crumpled in the front, but that can be easily straightened out with an iron (low- medium heat setting). All the important dimensions are in the last pic.

(a) We need you to understand WHY the Freight is at the level that we have quoted here: the packaged box is VERY big; it is the cubic volume of the box that is the sole reason for the postal charge. While we ALWAYS endeavor to minimize your freight costs, certain situations involving very large cargoes (like this) makes it near impossible to cut costs without jeopardizing the cargo. THIS is about the LARGEST item we've had to pack into a single box. At 1m long, we've had to gently fold it slightly in order for it to fit into the very largest box (called DHL's "Jumbo Box") we have. This HUGE box alone measures 48(L)x39(H)x46(W) cm. However, Australia Post's volume cubing rules equate this volume to a weight of 28.0 kgs!! Hence the freight quote given.
(b) The Freight quote given is applicable Australia-wide EXCEPT for Tasmania. So, IF you're from Tassie & are intending to bid, PLEASE e-mail us first to get a freight quote for your area.
(c) Due to the size & weight of this parcel and the high expense of shipping it, even by Australia Post standards, we will waive our usual rule about not allowing a personal pick-up. By special arrangement, the winner can pick-up anywhere between the NSW Central Coast areas of Woy Woy to Gosford in order to save yourselves some $.
Alternatively, you are welcome to organise your own Courier to pick this up for you, but we believe it won't be any cheaper than Australia Post.
