POINT GROUND PATTERNS FROM AUSTRALIA by Elwyn Kenn.

This book contains a collection of 23 original bobbin lace designs derived from Australian flora and fauna.  The author explains the patterns step-by-step, introducing many of the techniques of point grand lace, and the patterns increase gradually in level of difficulty.

 

PILLOW LACE & BOBBINS by Jeffrey Hopewell.

This book describes and illustrates different varieties of lace, the tools used for making the lace and explains some of the terms peculiar to the craft.  A number of pages are devoted to lace bobbins.

 

This is a useful little book for the lace-maker and the antique bobbin collector.

 

Both books are in good condition.

 

I am having a huge clean out of all my craft items and have no further use for these books.
