2 Stone Bisque Dolls - 1930 Girl & Boy

Lovely pair of stone bisque dolls from the 1930's era

Girl - 30.5cm tall, brown colour body which is straw stuffed, moulded blonde/yellow hair, blue painted eyes, brown stroked eyebrows, painted red lips.  Her boots are painted black and she has a fancy pattern around the top which joins onto the material legs. Her clothes are replaced but suit the period. She does have an undergarment which came with her and is quiet old, whether it is from the same period I could not say. Her body and stone bisque is in fantastic condition, except for a very small tear in one arm which could be fixed with no problems.

Boy - 29cm tall, red colour body which is straw stuffed, brown mohair wig, black painted eyes, red lips and red dot nostrils. Painted red shoes. He does have "Made in Japan" on the back of  his head plate. Doll has replaced clothes, but yet again, do suit the doll. Body and stone bisque are in fantastic condition with no faults. This doll has always been dressed as a boy, but could easily be dressed to suit a girl.

These dolls have been as a pair for the last 15 years with me.
